La Hora Del Vermut at Bar Daskal

Join us every Tuesday for a Spanish-inspired vermouth hour.

In Spain, la hora del vermut is a cherished ritual – a moment to pause, gather with friends and enjoy a glass of vermouth before a meal. Traditionally served over ice with a slice of orange or olive, vermouth has long been part of Spanish aperitivo culture, bringing people together at the start of the evening.

At Bar Daskal, we’re celebrating this tradition every Tuesday with La Hora del Vermut, our weekly vermouth hour dedicated to one of Spain’s most beloved drinks.

Alongside our weekly specials, you’ll find a number of vermouth-led favourites on our cocktail list, each showcasing a different side of Spain’s beloved aperitif:

  • Americano Royale – vermouth, rhubarb, Campari and Manzanilla sherry, topped with sparkling wine for a bright, bittersweet aperitif.
  • Lento – a slower-paced take on a Negroni, combining gin, Pacharán, Campari and white vermouth.
  • Eduardo – an elegant blend of Manzanilla, Palo Cortado, vermouth and bitters, inspired by classic sherry cocktails.

For those who prefer their vermouth served simply, we also offer a selection by the glass, best enjoyed alongside something from our para picar menu.
